India, Oct. 25 -- Bengal Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari got partial relief from Calcutta High Court after a single bench on Friday quashed 15 FIRs lodged against him by the Trinamool Congress Government but at the same time withdrew a protective judicial shield earlier provided to him against arbitrary prosecution.
Removing the protective shield against any kind of prosecution by the State police the Bench of Justice Joy Sengupta ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to be formed comprising officials from State police and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate into four cases.
