Ranchi, Oct. 24 -- In a major breakthrough Hazaribag police on Wednesday arrested three persons carrying 10 Kg of Opium. They were carrying the Opium from Khunti, about 40 Kms away from the State Capital and were transporting it to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. Hazaribagh, Superintendent of Police (SP), Mayur Patel informed that he got a tip off that some persons were carrying the opium. Patel gave direction to Sub Divisional Police Officer, Barhi, Manish Kumar to investigate the matter. "After getting the direction from the SP then Kumar started searching for the drug peddlers. After sometime Kumar nabbed three persons from Barhi Chowk with 10 Kg of Opium," said Patel.
