Chandigarh, June 28 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday gave approval for contracts and procurement of various goods worth over Rs 718 crores in the meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC), and High Powered Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC). Following negotiations with various bidders, the committees succeeded in saving over Rs 26 crores by finalizing reduced rates during the meeting, an official statement said.
In the meeting, Cabinet Ministers Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goyal, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Gangwa and Shruti Choudhry were present.
