Chandigarh, May 9 -- Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Haryana Government on Thursday cancelled the leaves of all the personnel of the police, health, and fire services departments. The orders were issued by the chiefs of the respective departments to step up the security of the state, a day after India attacked nine terrorist sites in Pakistan in Operation Sindoor. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has cancelled all his upcoming official programmes, while flight operations at the newly opened Hisar airport have been completely shut down.
