Chandigarh, June 27 -- The Haryana Cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, on Thursday, gave approval for the renaming of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Haryana. "The decision was taken after a comprehensive review of the Bureau's evolving role and responsibilities. The revised name-State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Haryana-better captures the dual focus of the Bureau: combating corruption and ensuring vigilance within the administrative framework," a statement said.
