Chandigarh, May 4 -- An all-party meeting, chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, on the ongoing water sharing dispute between Haryana and Punjab, on Saturday unanimously passed a resolution urging the Punjab government to implement, without conditions, the decisions of the BBMB technical committee dated April 23 and of the BBMB board dated April 30 and release water unconditionally. During the meeting, the leaders demanded that the inhumane, unjust, illegal, and unconstitutional ban on Haryana's share of water be lifted immediately. This came a day after an all-party meeting in Punjab backed the state government's refusal to release more water to BJP-ruled Haryana.
