Ranchi, Feb. 19 -- The Jharkhand Government has banned the sale of gutkha and pan masala from Tuesday. This ban has been imposed for one year. The Health and Family Welfare Department has issued a notification in this regard.
Gutkha remains the biggest reason for the spread of cancer in Jharkhand. Due to this, the lives of youth are being ruined. Health Minister Irfan Ansari had made it clear during the program organized on the occasion of Cancer Day that gutkha will be banned in the state.
