India, Nov. 22 -- In one of the biggest crackdowns against organised crime in recent years, Gurugram Police have arrested 289 hardcore and violent criminals during its special drive "Operation Trackdown", conducted between November 5 and November 20, 2025.
The campaign was spearheaded under the leadership of Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Arora to curb criminal networks, gangsters, weapon traffickers, and drug cartels operating in the district. During the operation, police identified 290 notorious/violent criminals, out of which 289 were arrested.
A total of 48 accused involved in organized crime activities were also nabbed, marking a significant blow to gang networks operating within the region.
