Gurugram, May 3 -- Nearly one hour of rain caused heavy waterlogging and a flood-like situation on multiple stretches and areas in Gurugram on Friday.
Rain caused heavy waterlogging on multiple key stretches and areas of the city. Trees were also uprooted in many areas, which caused electricity problems in the city as well. According to the district administration, the Gurugram district recorded 263 mm of rainfall on Friday.
Both vehicular traffic and pedestrian movement were disrupted due to waterlogging on several roads.The residents were seen helpless and multiple stretches across Gurugram turned into a river.
Morning rush hour traffic was affected, and the police struggled to keep the vehicles moving.
