Jammu, May 11 -- Amarjeet Singh, an ex-serviceman and a devout Granthi who regularly performed Paath at the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Poonch town of Jammu on Wednesday, performed his last duty as a 'true soldier' before he became the target of the heavy Pakistan shelling and succumbed to his injuries. Minutes before stepping out of the Gurdwara, Amarjeet Singh used the public address system to appeal to the residents to stay indoors in the wake of heavy shelling in the Poonch town.
