PNS, April 19 -- Director Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Dr. Rajkumar was removed with immediate effect on Thursday. The decision was taken by Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari, who is also the chairman of the RIMS Governing Council. Dr Ansari said that Dr. Rajkumar has been removed due to administrative negligence and ignoring government orders. He said that the RIMS director did not follow many important instructions given by the department and the governing council. The letter issued by the government states that Dr. Rajkumar could not fulfill the targets set under the RIMS Act 2002. Therefore, he has been removed under Rule-9 (vi).
