India, Feb. 4 -- The Delhi Government has approved the release of a total amount of Rs 68,722.47 lakh as the third and final instalment of Basic Tax Assignment (BTA) to local bodies for the financial year 2025-26. Out of the total sanctioned amount, Rs 67,312.72 lakh has been allocated to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Rs 573.39 lakh to the Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) and Rs 836.36 lakh to the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
