Garhwa, April 24 -- An employment assistant, known as a Rojgar Sevak, has been arrested by the Palamu Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team for allegedly accepting a bribe. The individual apprehended was based at the Korwadih Panchayat in the Garhwa block. Following the arrest, the ACB team has placed the Rojgar Sevak, identified as Gulzar Ansari, in judicial custody. The arrest was prompted by a complaint submitted to the ACB by Akhilesh Choudhary, a resident of Korwadih in Ranka, Garhwa. Choudhary claimed that a 'dobha' (water harvesting structure) scheme, operating under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), had been approved in his name.
