New Delhi, May 23 -- With the objective of improving government schools in Delhi, the state government is conducting routine inspections, Education Minister Ashish Sood said on Thursday.
He also said this year, the Delhi Government has increased the education budget by more than 19 per cent, approving a total budget of '19,291 crore to improve the condition of all government schools in the city, thereby securing a better future for students.
Sood made these assertions after inspecting two government schools in the Shakur Basti Assembly constituency - Sarvodaya Co-educational School, C Block, Saraswati Vihar and Government Senior Secondary School, Rani Bagh.
