India, Dec. 12 -- In a significant step toward deepening tourism cooperation, the Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) held a constructive meeting with Minister for Tourism, Rohan A Khaunte, in Panaji. The discussions underscored shared interest in strengthening bilateral engagement and enhancing direct connectivity between Goa and Israel.
The IMOT delegation - comprising Galit Hoffman, Consul - Tourism Affairs for India, and Amruta Bangera, Director of Marketing, IMOT India highlighted Israel's interest in exploring a direct air link between Goa and Tel Aviv. The proposed route, they noted, could greatly improve accessibility and support the rising travel demand between India and Israel.
