India, Feb. 11 -- Recently, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that India did not talk about H-1B visa concerns with the US as it finalised the bilateral trade framework. He cited the main reason as the lack of interest among the IT firms to send techies abroad. Looking at the same problem from the potential employees' perspective, a recent survey finds that most of Gen Z's desire to go abroad to study, although a lower percentage wishes to work there. Maybe Goyal is on the right track. Like Indian firms, Indian job seekers have lost interest in overseas jobs.
