Dehradun, Nov. 29 -- After a long break, the general OPDs of all the departments of Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) would start functioning from December 1. Initially only 25 patients in OPD of every department would be examined and later this number would be increased after a review on December 15. It is worth mentioning here that the GDMC hospital was converted as a dedicated Covid-19 hospital in the month of March only. After which the hospital was catering only the Covid-19 patients.
The decision to open the OPDs of all the departments was taken in a meeting of all Head of Departments (HoD) in the hospital on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by the Principal of GDMC, Dr Ashutosh Sayana.
