India, Feb. 18 -- Displaying sporting camaraderie and cross-border solidarity, Indian cricket greats, including Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev, have expressed "deep concern" over jailed cricketer and former Prime Minister Imran Khan's deteriorating health. Along with 12 other former cricket captains, they urged the Pakistan government to provide adequate medical care and dignified conditions in line with international standards.
This appeal came in the backdrop of reports that the 1992 World Cup-winning skipper Imran has lost approximately 85 per cent of vision in his right eye due to medical neglect while in custody at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail.
