Garhwa, April 25 -- In response to a video was shared on social media showing the Block Office was closed until midday. As a result, the Deputy Commissioner has asked for an explanation from the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Bhawnathpur and has suspended salary payments for all officers and staff at the Block Office until further notice.
The video, which circulated on social media on 23 April 2025, indicated that no officers or employees were present at the Block Office in Bhawnathpur after midday. The doors to all officers' and employees' offices were also closed.
