India, Sept. 19 -- New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairman Keshav Chandra on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the construction of a subway for the Gole Market Museum at Bhai Veer Singh Marg, a roundabout under the Sewa Pakhwada.

On this occasion, he also launched an initiative for the timely issuance of birth certificates before discharging mothers from the hospital.

After the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a subway at Gole Market Museum, the chairman informed that NDMC is redeveloping the existing Gole Market Building into a museum of national importance. A subway shall be constructed to the museum for safe and convenient passage and modern access for citizens, visitors, students and tourists etc.
