Bhopal, Feb. 6 -- A tragic incident occurred in Neelbad on Tuesday evening, where a 5-year-old boy lost his life due to electrocution while washing his hands at a water-filled stone quarry. A broken electric wire had fallen into the quarry, leading to the fatal accident.

The incident took place in Barkheda-Nathu, near Millennium College. The deceased, identified as Ayush, son of Mangal Patel, had gone to the quarry with his sister to relieve himself. While washing his hands in the quarry water, he was electrocuted and collapsed unconscious. His sister raised an alarm, prompting locals to rush to the scene. Ayush was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
