New Delhi, July 25 -- Five minors were apprehended in connection with a dacoity case in the Inderlok area of north Delhi, officials said on Thursday.
The accused, aged between 14 and 17 years, are school dropouts and struggle with drug addiction, the police claimed.
"The incident occurred on July 19, when the victim, Shohrab Alam (23), a factory worker residing in JJ Colony in Wazirpur, was on his way home through the Kachra Park near Inderlok. At around 10 pm, he was allegedly intercepted by a group of five boys, one of whom grabbed him from behind while two others restrained him," a police officer stated.
