Dewas, June 3 -- The Dewas police have successfully dismantled an inter-district gang involved in the production and circulation of counterfeit currency. The operation, led by the Bank Note Press Police Station, resulted in the seizure of fake currency worth Rs 15.41 lakh, along with high-tech printing equipment including printers, scanners, laptops, and other materials used in the illegal production of notes. Five individuals have been arrested, including the prime accused who reportedly masterminded the operation while serving time in prison.
