BHOPAL, May 22 -- A group of 177 Haj pilgrims from Bhopal left for Jeddah on Tuesday morning. A direct flight took off from Bhopal to Jeddah. All Haj pilgrims were sent off with rose flowers. Another batch of Haj pilgrims will also leave on Wednesday morning to Jeddah.

A total of 380 passengers will leave in two days. On the first day, Tuesday, at 5:30 am, the flight left for Jeddah carrying 177 passengers. Before leaving, Haj pilgrims were welcomed at Raja Bhoj Airport.

Haj Committee Chairman Rauf Warsi and other officials gave rose flowers to everyone and bid farewell.
