BHOPAL, Feb. 23 -- A gracious welcome was accorded to the first foreign guests who arrived in the state capital on Saturday to participate in the Global Investors Summit.
The Taiwanese guests, Shu Lin and Keertana, were welcomed at Raja Bhoj Airport with a traditional tilak ceremony. They have travelled approximately 4,500 kilometres to attend the two-day conclave.
From the airport, these guests were taken to their hotels, where the government has made special arrangements for their hospitality.
More than 20,000 delegates from India and abroad will be participating in the summit. All arriving guests will receive a traditional welcome at the airport, and their arrivals will continue until February 25.
