DEHRADUN, Oct. 24 -- In the armed robbery case that went un-reported in the month of May and only came to light after the accused were arrested in another robbery case, Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arun Mohan Joshi has ordered the case to be registered on the basis of the complaint filed by Rama Singhal, wife of Alok Kumar who is a regional inspector in Dehradun Regional Transport Office (RTO).
The Dehradun SSP Arun Mohan Joshi said, "The case is being registered on the basis of the statement given by the victim. The contradiction in the statements will now be verified during the course of investigation."
