India, April 24 -- Finance cum Commercial Tax Dept Minister Radha Krishna Kishore today said that efficient management is required for better education and employment opportunities in the state. He informed that revenue collection was affected due to Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, yet the efforts have been satisfactory. The Minister informed that a target of Rs 1,06,999.57 crore was set in the last financial year, out of which Rs 92,189.10 crore was recovered, which is 86.16 per cent. At the same time, a total of Rs 1,03,469.82 crore including non-tax receipts i.e. 80.27 per cent of the budget estimate has been received.
