Mumbai, April 25 -- Two days after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) clamoured for a ban on an upcoming Hindi film "Abir Gulaal" featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor - which is slated for release on May 9 2025.
Having taken strong objection to the Pakistani artistes being employed by Bollywood, the FWICE's President BN Tiwari said: "We reiterate our call, originally issued on February 18, 2019, calling for complete non-cooperation with all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry".
