Lucknow, Feb. 5 -- Provincial Civil Services (PCS) cadre officer Kiran Chaudhary, posted as Mathura's District Panchayat Raj Officer, was allegedly caught red-handed by the vigilance team from Lucknow while accepting a bribe, officials said. The trap was set at the officer's residence in Mathura on Tuesday morning. The team later also raided her office and seized documents for further examination.
Reports indicated that the Vigilance Establishment team reached the residence of PCS officer Kiran Chaudhary in Indraprastha Colony, Mathura. The complainant in the case allegedly gave Rs 70,000 to the officer as a bribe. As soon as the officer accepted this amount, the team raided her house and caught her red-handed.
