Chandigarh, Feb. 15 -- The fifth round of talks between the Central Government and the protesting farmers ended without a resolution on Friday, as farmers remained adamant on their demand for a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. The meeting, held in Chandigarh, came over a year after the previous talks between the Centre and farmers on February 18, 2024, and marked another attempt to break the deadlock that has persisted since the farmers launched their agitation in February 2024.
