Gurugram, March 22 -- Gurugram Police arrested an accused for allegedly extorting Rs 80 Lakh from a 15-year-old girl by threatening to arrest her by posing as fake DSP, police said. The alleged fake DSP was identified as Fardeen a resident of Nuh district in Haryana. He was arrested from Patudi area on Thursday.
During police interrogation, it was found that the accused had created a DSP ID on TRUE CALLER. After this, he got the money transferred from the victim by threatening her of arrest by posing as a fake DSP. At least six other suspects have already been arrested in the matter, police said on Friday.
