India, May 3 -- In anticipation of the 18th Lok Sabha elections in India, political parties have fervently engaged in pre-electoral activities, including candidate selection, issue advocacy and public discourse-all these, much before the official announcement by the Election Commission (scheduled from April 19 to June 1, 2024).
