Godda, June 13 -- In the quiet villages of Motia, Dumaria, Patwa, Baksara, and Rangania nestled close to the Adani Power Plant in Godda, something extraordinary is sprouting, not just in the soil, but in the lives of rural women. Thanks to the sustained efforts of the Adani Foundation's CSR initiatives, women in these villages are turning into successful agri-entrepreneurs through mushroom cultivation. It was started as a modest training initiative and has now become a full-fledged movement led by local women, who have formed Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to cultivate mushrooms.
