BHOPAL, Feb. 19 -- Electric buses and e-karts will be used for the transportation of guests to reduce the carbon footprint of the Global Investors Summit in the state capital later this month.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day event on 24th February. While the inaugural session will be attended by 3,000 delegates, the event is expected to draw over 15,000 prospective investors to the city.

While departmental taxis and government buses will ferry attendees during the summit, VIPs will be assigned liaison officers who will escort them from the station and airport to the summit venue.

Access within the venue will be facilitated by e-karts to transport guests from one place to another.
