India, Jan. 23 -- Egypt has called for a pragmatic and responsible approach to ongoing efforts aimed at restoring peace in Gaza, emphasizing that lasting solutions must be driven by serious diplomacy rather than speculation or individual aspirations.

Egypt's Ambassador to India, Kamel Z. Galal, made the remarks while responding to questions on recent international discussions surrounding proposed peace initiatives.
