Bhopal, April 18 -- Twelve officers from six districts of the state have been served show-cause notices for failing to verify private schools despite repeated directives since December last year.
The School Education Department issued notices to District Education Officers and District Project Coordinators of Bhopal, Morena, Guna, Sehore, Jhabua and Agar Malwa. All have been asked to upload private school verification reports by April 25 or face disciplinary action.
Initial instructions were issued via circulars uploaded on the Education Portal on December 12 and December 17. Officers were expected to complete verification by December 28, but no action was taken.
