Ranchi, May 9 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday carried out raids on a massive Goods and Services Tax (GST) fraud, conducting raids at nine locations across Jharkhand and West Bengal.
The operation is part of the agency's investigation into an alleged scam involving fraudulent input tax credit (ITC) claims worth over Rs 800 crore. In the GST scam of Rs 800 crore, the agency started raiding a total of 9 locations in Jharkhand and West Bengal from 7 am. The masterminds of the GST scam are residents of Jharkhand and West Bengal.
