Ranchi, Feb. 5 -- The Eastern Command Investiture Ceremony 2024 will be conducted at Ranchi to honour the brave hearts, distinguished personnel and outstanding units on February 12, 2025. Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, GOC-in-C Eastern Command will confer the gallantry and distinguished service awards to the recipients during the ceremony. The event will be attended by Governor of Jharkhand Santosh Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
As many as 39 awardees including 20 Sena Medals (Gallantry), 4 Sena Medals (Distinguished), 1 Bar to Sena Medal (Distinguished), 2 Yudh Seva Medals, 1 Bar to Vishisht Seva Medal and 11 Vishisht Seva Medals will be presented.
