Ranchi, June 7 -- In a significant move to strengthen the rural health infrastructure in Jharkhand, the state government has approved Rs.619.93 crore for the construction of 1117 new health sub-centers. Each center will receive Rs.55.50 lakh under this initiative. The decision was formally approved by Ajay Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department.
This infrastructure development project falls under the ambit of the 15th Finance Commission for the financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
