New Delhi, April 25 -- The Delhi Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh on Thursday said that the government is planning to deploy 'Jal Doots' at Bus stops across the capital city who will provide clean drinking water to passengers waiting for buses during summer.
Additionally, defunct DTC buses will be converted into food kiosks and will include basic amenities like drinking water, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
The Transport minister made the announcement during the review meeting of 'Delhi Heat Action Plan 2025' which outlines several proactive measures to safeguard passengers from the rising summer temperatures.
