Bhopal, June 9 -- The Madhya Pradesh government has reshuffled 41 senior health officials, appointing Dr Manish Sharma as the new Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Bhopal with immediate effect.
The late Saturday order by the Directorate of Public Health and Medical Education comes under Transfer Policy 2025, aimed at streamlining administrative efficiency across districts. Dr Sharma was earlier Deputy Director at Gwalior's Regional Office.
He replaces Dr Prabhakar Tiwari, who has now been posted as Senior Joint Director at the Directorate of Health Services, Bhopal. Sharma said COVID-19 prevention will be his top priority.
