India, June 15 -- A life-size statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, was unveiled on Saturday at the District Bar Association premises in Bokaro. The unveiling was jointly conducted by Principal District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra, Judge of the Lok Adalat, and Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha.
Speaking at the occasion, Justice Anil Kumar Mishra noted that this long-awaited installation of Dr Ambedkar's statue marks a significant moment for the legal fraternity. "This event should have taken place much earlier, but it is indeed a matter of pride and satisfaction that it has finally happened," he said, extending congratulations to the District Bar Association and its members.
