Kolkata, March 12 -- With a number of sitting Trinamool Congress MPs and some other aspiring activists failing to land a ticket in the coming Lok Sabha elections voices of dissent have started emerging in the party.

Among the notables are Arjun Singh the sitting MP and party strongman from Barrackpore. The veteran TMC leader who left the party before 2019 to win on a BJP ticket before rejoining Mamata Banerjee two years ago said that he was expecting a ticket and that his hopes had been dashed to the ground.
