Kolkata, April 8 -- Even as violence continued in Bengal with reports of TMC-BJP clashes coming from all sides, alleged Trinamool supporters attacked the convoy of Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh, at Sitai in the same district in North Bengal.

The incident took place hours after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee delivered an alleged inflammatory speech asking the people of Coochbehar to gherao the central forces and blockade them.

Ghosh suffered minor injuries as stones were pelted at his vehicle breaking its windshield.
