New Delhi, June 2 -- A 22-year-old differently-abled woman was allegedly kidnapped and murdered in the early hours of Sunday in southeast Delhi's Madanpur Khadar area, police said. Police have registered a case of kidnapping and murder and launched a manhunt for the accused, who is reportedly known to locals and has been identified with the help of eyewitness accounts.

The incident came to light when a call was made to the Sarita Vihar Police Station at around 1:02 am reporting the kidnapping of a "handicapped girl" from the Madanpur Khadar Extension.
