New Delhi, July 24 -- Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has started packing his belongings and plans to soon move out of the Vice President's Enclave. His departure follows a 15 month stay at the newly built Vice President Enclave, a part of the Central Vista redevelopment project near Parliament House. As a former vice president, he is entitled to a Type VIII Government accommodation.
"He (Dhankhar) will be offered a Type VIII bungalow in Lutyens' Delhi or another area," an Urban Development Ministry official said on Tuesday. Type VIII Bungalows are meant for Cabinet Ministers, Judges of Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi, Ministers of State and key Secretaries.
