New Delhi, April 18 -- Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday severely criticised the higher judiciary by questioning the three-month timeline set by the Supreme Court for the President of India on assent to State Bills, saying this tantamount to judiciary acting as a 'super Parliament'. He also opined that Article 142 of the Indian Constitution was a 'nuclear missile available with the judiciary 24x7 against democratic forces'.

He also questioned absence of even an FIR in the alleged discovery of wads of burnt currency notes from the Delhi residence of a High Court Judge, wondering whether a "category beyond law" had secured immunity from prosecution.
