DEHRADUN, Feb. 20 -- Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is making efforts to appoint the meritorious youths of the State to the posts lying vacant in the departments. This campaign is being conducted consistently at a swift pace. He said that considerable changes have been made in the recruitment process to resolve complaints of irregularities in recruitments under past governments, he said. The chief minister said this after presenting appointment letters to 892 forest guards and 104 assistant accountants selected through the public service commission. Out of the 104 assistant accountants, 59 have been appointed in the Forest department while 45 have been appointed in the Technical Education department.
