DEHRADUN, Feb. 20 -- Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled Himalayan Basket, a commodity trading venture dealing in products of the Himalaya on Monday. Addressing the programme held in Champawat in virtual mode on Monday, the CM said that the Himalayan Basket was started in the year 2018 by Sumit and Sneha. While Sumit is an engineer, Sneha is a marketing professional. He said that due to their roots in Uttarakhand both wanted to do something new to provide employment to local people. The CM said that after dwelling on different aspects of dairy and agriculture both decided to set up the Himalayan Basket.
