Ayodhya, March 21 -- The 45-day Maha Kumbh in Ayodhya has not only drawn millions of devotees but also resulted in an extraordinary financial windfall for the Ram Temple. Over Rs 26.89 Crore was donated to Ram Lalla in January and February alone, with Rs 20 Crore contributed during the religious gathering. Additionally, Rs 57 Lakh was received from foreign donors, marking a sharp increase in international contributions.

The temple saw an overwhelming influx of pilgrims, with over three Crore devotees visiting the sanctum during the Maha Kumbh.

To accommodate the surge, temple authorities extended darshan hours to 18-19 hours daily and increased the number of donation boxes from six to 34, leading to a significant rise in contributions.
